  how do you read?.

  i find myself attracted to certain authors and book series.. which reminds me, i need to download the grapes of wrath.. i love steinbeck's writing of historical fiction.

  looking into the history of frontier america is so interesting when written in story form.. i read from most genres.. what's your poison?.

  I miss music

  has anyone else had music pretty much taken from them?

  i'm doing the best i can with my djembe and old familiar songs that i can guess from hearing them, but i really miss the piano and listening to pretty music.

  this is kind of a depressing spin-off from the musician thread.. got me to thinking.. oh, and i'm really angry about the false advertizing about cochlear implants.. they say they give a person music.

  jahessye shockley's story has now gone national.. she's a 5 year old black girl from phoenix, arizona.. please spread the word, even though it's on the national news, now.

  it can't hurt to make sure everyone knows about her disappearance.. missing 10 days, now.

  Householder is just not that into it if...

  i was thinking about how inefective the ministry really is, no matter how often one goes to a householder's door for years.. they just never bite the bate, yet the jw will keep going back.. jw's are clueless.

  they need to know the signs the hhs give them.. it reminds me of that book he's just not that into you..

  I was a dumb ass

  i let one of my student loans default.

  now, i'm doing damage control with the rest of them to get forbearances and deferments.. i contacted the place that has the defaulted loan and am waiting for a response.. anyone know how long it takes to remove the word "default" from one's record?

  just a ballpark figure would be okay..

  the pool is a swamp and the car windows will have to be cleaned off even before driving.. i just hope no one was killed on the freeways with that zero visibility.

  Time to get a new job?

  you know it's time to get a new job when.... your boss gushes about how much she and everyone appreciates all your hard work and support but doesn't train you with new skills, and it's been over a year since you started.. no new skills, no raise, no promotion, just empty promises of yes!
